I have
previously written about an experiment I had undertaken with
blog and ping, Blogger and some automation software.
I had been using the software to post frequently (too frequently it seems) using the targeted term "blog and ping" (as you might expect). Blogger apparently has a system to detect blogs that are updated automatically (or maybe it is the frequency of posting?) and all new posts on
that blog now require manual entry of the digits from a
Captcha image. Additionally, although Google owns Blogger, only the home page is indexed in Google. MSN, Yahoo and Altavista however have indexed many of the posts as well.
Consequently I have moved the
Blog and Ping blog to
WebBizProfit.com and slowed down the posting frequency to several times a day. Previously this was set at once per hour which was more a misunderstanding of the way the autoposting software works since this was done with a Cron job.
Now I know from observing some of the content posted using the automation software on other topics that some of the posts are not especially relevant but with the
blog and ping topic there is a goldmine of information.
So by all means visit the new
Blog and Ping blog at
WebBizProfit.com for the latest
blog and ping strategies.
