Keeping your computer up and running and in top shape is an important part of home office administration.
On April 12th, Microsoft issued a security alert for the Windows Operating System affecting all Windows OS from Windows 98 to Windows XP, including Windows 2000 and 2003.
Here is the URL for the bulletin.

You are also advised to check Windows Update (available through your Start Meu) for any other patches and security updates that might apply to your system.
Finally, I have just learned that Microsoft now has
anti-spyware software available from:

It comes recommended in the Australian PC World magazine. As it is still in beta, you are advised to retain your
Spybot S&D, and
AdAware software.
