I have been using
Nucleus to run WebBizProfit.com for quite a while now and it is excellent for my purposes.
I have also evaluated Drupal and decided on it for the
Vitality News site that will support the
Vitality News health newsletter. Drupal is a very comprehensive CMS with lots of relevant features (like multiple RSS feeds and SEO urls) for marketers. This is my choice for a content site that will ultimately have thousands of pages.
There still remained the issue of creating online documentation as a knowledge base for membership sites. My current choice of software for the content of a membership site is
Geeklog. Geeklog does have an integrated FAQ plugin (requires separate installation) but I am always on the lookout for better things.
BlogCMS is based on the
Nucleus core code and with that package comes
DokuWiki.
Now this application doesn't use MySQL database integration but after reading
a comparison of a number of different Wiki, from a
Randy Brown, a DokuWiki user, it is the obvious choice
because of its ability to define user access.
So
DokuWiki will be my
Wiki of choice.
